Apply to the Network
The Youth Ministry Ad Network exists to connect great youth ministry oriented products to influential bloggers in the youth ministry world.
Get paid to blog?
Chances are that if you are reading this you have wondered if you can make money by doing what you are already doing… posting on your blog and building an audience every day. The answer is “Yes!” Maybe you’ve even tried to earn some money on your blog with Google AdSense or an affiliate like LinkShare or Amazon but been disappointed. This ad network is different.
- Our network pays you based on your actual ad impressions and not pay per click (PPC) like Google AdSense.
- Our network pays you based on your actual ad impressions and not pay per action (PPA) like affiliates.
- Unlike other advertising options, our payment threshold is only $25. When your account has $25 we pay out on the 5th of each month.
- Unlike other advertising options, you can earn money for charity. We’ll send money to whoever you designate as long as it is a legal entity in the United States.
- Unlike other advertising options, we will help you learn how to make your blog more influential, attract a larger audience, and make you more money.
- Unlike other ad networks with tens of thousands of members, the Youth Ministry Ad Network is kept small intentionally.
How the revenue sharing system works
Each month your blog will display ads from our network. (See current list of advertisers) At the end of the month we will tabulate what percentage of our networks ad impressions were on our revenue sharing blogs. (See list of blogs) So if your blog displayed 15% of the networks ad impressions, your blog will earn 15% of the networks revenue.
How payments work
All payments are made via PayPal. You will need an account for your blog to be accepted. (Unless you are donating your revenue to a charity)
How does the Ad Network profit
The Ad Network earns 20% of the ad sales. This means we share 80% of the total revenue with our network bloggers.
Some quick answers to questions:
- Does my blog have to be purely about youth ministry? No. Your acceptance to the network is dependent on the blogs and its authors influence to the youth ministry audience.
- Is there a traffic minimum to be accepted to the network? No. But in order to be accepted your blog will need to be actively updated.
- Can I continue with the advertising methods I currently have? Yes. As long as our ad unit “above the fold” we are satisfied.
- Can I join if my blog is brand new? Yes.
- Am I making a commitment to the ad network if my blog is accepted? Yes. If accepted, you are agreeing to display our network ads on your blog per our agreement for 3 months. Beyond that, you may leave at any time.
Blogger requirements
- Display the ad unit “above the fold” on your blog. This means that when the blog loads the ads are visible without scrolling down.
- Provide us access to your blogs statistics. If you don’t have Google Analytics or something like that, you will need to provide us with a 3rd party way to examine your blogs statistics. (Verifies your traffic, helps us do fraud prevention.)
- Maintain a click through rate on network ads above. 0.8%. This means that your blogis sending about 1/120 visitors to a network advertiser.
- Be eligible to work in the United States and have your primary audience be English language based. (Sorry for these restrictions, we may reconsider if the network advertising can support it.)
